Renovation of Old Clubhouse at Beas River Country Club of Hong Kong Jockey Club

The project was successfully completed before the Olympic Games 2008, where the venue was set to host several Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian events. IAL led an integrated professional team comprising of civil & structural consultants, catering consultants, lighting consultants, and landscape, graphic & interior designers towards the positive outcome of the project. The revitalization of the 70 year old one-story clubhouse included upgrading the shading and decking areas to accommodate for sultry summer days, and uplifting the overall ambience through new lighting and ventilation works. The refined outlook of the clubhouse, sustainably improved and smoothly connected to the surrounding environment, attracted worldwide tourists and much media attention at the time of completion. Since then, the Clubhouse has become an ever-popular all-day dining spot for HKJC members.
